Join us in Northampton for the Northamptonshire Natural History Society’s Annual Exhibition of Microscopy, an established annual event bringing together microscopists, microscopy enthusiasts, exhibitors and visitors from across the UK.
This full-day microscopy exhibition is a chance to explore the fascinating world revealed through the microscope, meet fellow enthusiasts from around the country and enjoy a varied programme of talks, practical demonstrations, exhibits, displays and sales.
Throughout the day you can see microscopes in action, explore fascinating specimens and prepared slides, discover different microscopy techniques and talk to experienced microscopists with a wealth of specialist knowledge. There will also be an opportunity to browse microscopy equipment, accessories, slides and other items available for sale.
The exhibition is as much about sharing knowledge and enthusiasm as it is about microscopy itself. It’s a great opportunity to meet other microscopists, exchange ideas, discover new techniques and find out more about microscopy groups and interests from beyond Northamptonshire.
Have something interesting of your own? Visitors and microscopists are encouraged to bring along an exhibit and share their interests, specimens or microscopy work with others.
You certainly don’t need to be an expert to enjoy the day. Anyone interested in microscopes, microscopy, natural history, biology or the microscopic world is welcome, from complete beginners and families to experienced amateur and professional microscopists.
Entry is completely FREE and guests and visitors are very welcome.
Join us at the Humfrey Rooms in Northampton for one of the highlights of the NNHS Microscopy calendar and spend a day meeting people, exchanging ideas and discovering an extraordinary world normally hidden from view.
Further details, exhibitors, talks and timings for the day will be added here as they are confirmed.
