Our monthly Weather & Climate meeting is a relaxed and friendly get-together for anyone interested in meteorology, weather and climate. We look at what’s been happening with our local Northamptonshire weather, explore interesting weather events from around the UK and the wider world, and discuss everything from rainfall, temperature and atmospheric pressure to storms, clouds, weather records and changing climate patterns.
We’ll also look back at notable weather from the past, discuss what is happening now and consider what forecasts and climate science might tell us about the future.
You don’t need any specialist knowledge or your own weather station – just an interest in weather and the world around us. Whether you’re an amateur weather watcher, interested in climate science, enjoy meteorology and weather forecasting, or simply find yourself constantly checking the forecast, come along and join the conversation.
Beginners, weather enthusiasts, guests and non-members are all very welcome.
