Rocks & Fossils Day – Saturday 14 November
Following the fantastic response to our first Rocks & Fossils Day, the NNHS Geology Section has added an extra date for children aged 6–12.
This is a hands-on geology day where children can get up close to rocks, minerals and fossils, take part in activities and short presentations, explore specimens from the Society’s collections and have the chance to Ask a Geologist their questions.
The event takes place at the Humfrey Rooms, Northampton, and is free to attend, but places are limited and booking is essential.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult who stays with them throughout the event.
