Andrew is Professor of observational astronomy at Leicester University. The most dramatic events in the universe on a galaxy wide scale are the ignition of ultra luminous galaxies and quasars. Andrew will describe the objects detected in the 2010 WISE all-sky infrared survey,and what we have learned about them since. Guests are very welcome.
